| FedEx: They give you your package with a smile and a hug, and leave you thinking you're in the clear. A couple of days later...BOOOM! You get a brokerage bill in the mail. By they, it's too late to refuse the package or to argue your way out of it! By far the sneakiest bastards of all. USPS: They use the flat rate approach, so you get screwed no matter what. Whether you ship a $5 item or a $500 item, you will get hurt. UPS: They just have REDICULOUS brokerage rates. I paid $85 in duties and brokerage on a set of $55 brake pads. Total = $140. Pricks! I don't mind paying a reasonable amount, we have to keep a certain level of control over what comes in and what goes out of the country, but this is just bullshit.
